We would like to thank you for your continued preference and support throughout our journey, and especially during this difficult time. Our priority is to create a safe and hospitable environment for both our visitors and our employees. In this context, we have secured cooperation with homed.gr by concluding a medical support contract. In case of a possible COVID-19 case, the HOTEL will take care to immediately inform the secretariat of the Doctor in order to carry out a diagnostic test as soon as possible, by a doctor of the appropriate specialty with appropriate equipment.
Opora Country Living has complete indoor and outdoor disinfection certificates. We have also disinfected the air conditioners with certification.
We apply contactless thermometer satiation upon check-in.
To address SARS-CoV-2 (Covid-19) we have implemented the following additional control measures:
Specific health protocols are laid down for the operation of tourism enterprises in para. Article 1 of Law 4276/2014 (A’ 155), which are complementary and shall, where appropriate, prevail over the operating conditions of those undertakings.
For the implementation of this decision we have made the following
(c) Event book – COVID-19: book (not considered), which includes the recording of incidents related to the prevention or treatment of a possible case.
Antiseptic for customer use (fixed or non-fixed devices) in reception desk
Avoid crowding at check-in/check-out – keeping distances
Check-in outdoors.
Extended check-out and check-in between stays (check-out until 11.00am and check-in from 3.00pm). This change in the time between each check-in and check-out is mandatory to ensure that between different guests the room is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected, and that adequate physical ventilation of the room is followed.
Prohibition of entry to rooms for non-residents.
Maintenance of a cleaning and disinfection program, in accordance with No. D1c/G.P/o.K 19954/20.03.2020 circular of the Ministry of Health “Cleaning and disinfection measures in premises and surfaces during the evolution of the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic” (ADA: 6CPs6465FYO-1ND), as applicable
Application of special cleaning instructions in the event of an outbreak in accordance with the corresponding ESA Guidelines.
Strengthening of sanitary services in all public areas and in particular in ‘high risk’ objects (e.g. door handles)
Cleaning and ventilation of a room during the hours between stays.
Personnel equipment (gloves, masks, robe, closed shoes). During their work, cleaning staff must observe the basic measures to avoid transmission of coronavirus – COVID-19, do not smoke and do not consume food or drinks.
In particular, cleaning staff are advised to use a simple surgical mask (in case of unavailability of a surgical mask, it is recommended to use a sneaker), gloves and waterproof disposable robe.
Uncommon room cleaning during the stay (avoid contact of cleaning workers with possible case and further transmission), except at the customer’s request.
Remove daily change of clothing and towels, evening preparation only at the customer’s request.
Policy choice between normal cleaning and waiting 24 hours before the room is made available to a customer or thorough cleaning – disinfection (e.g. with a steam cleaner) on the room and bathroom surfaces in dispute.
Increased cleaning, communal areas and surfaces often touched using a steam cleaner
Disinfection of door handles, meticulously by all members of our team.
Installation of a disposable cover on the controls of the TV and air conditioner.
For any stay of 2 nights or more, you will let us know if you want our team to have access to your room to clean it or not.
Open doors and windows for natural ventilation of the space daily.
Compliance with hygiene rules by staff when sorting unclean linen using appropriate M.A.P. (special disposable apron over uniform, gloves and mask)
Placing used fabrics, bed linen and towels in special, closed, marked bags or bags in order to be transported to laundry areas.
Separation (marking) of areas of unclean and clean linen.
Washing fabrics, bed linen and towels in hot circles (70oC or more) with ordinary detergents.
Check compliance with required measures and delivery in an appropriate manner in case the clothing cleaning service is provided by an external partner.
Operation of swimming pools
Operation of swimming pools within tourist accommodation

Manual control (or use of halogen analyser with paper recorder) of chlorine levels during operation every 4 hours for bathing tanks and every hour for hydromalation tanks and record keeping, unless there is an automatic halogen analyser and a monitoring system with a notification system when the parameter values are out of bounds.
PH regulation: pH values in the water of recreational water installations should be kept within the limits laid down by the legislation in force (see Ministerial Decision C1/443/1973, as amended by Nos C4/1150/76 and DYG2/80825/05 alike). Regular measurement and keeping of pH records every eight hours during the operation of the swimming pools and at least every two hours during operation of the hydromalacting and hydrotherapy tanks, in the absence of an automatic recording system.
The maximum total number of inbounds in the tank at any time shall not be greater than one bath per to 5 m2 of water surface.
